I cannot believe I have never heard of this film until today! This scene was hilarious and Ricky Gervais, a self-proclaimed Atheist, was the perfect person to lead this scene. I'm sure some people who are more religious than I am criticized the film and deemed it to be antireligion for its satirical critique of religion. After all, this scene alone suggests that in a world without lies, there would be no religion. This implies that religion is founded on the basis of lies and fallacies. I personally enjoyed this clip and believe that this scene brilliantly addressed many of the flaws and ironies of religion.
LMAO this is so funny! Such a weird way of explaining religion, but funny regardless!
