When the narrator said, "Humans on average breath 29,920 times a day, which is the number of days which is the number of years in a Great Plutonic Year," it blew my mind! I never realized how interconnected our bodies and nature were with the planets/solar system!!
The idea of a spiritual being or thought being using artists or scholars as mediums to influence society really caught my attention. It's always interesting to see how ancient civilizations interpreted spirituality and our place in the universe. Specifically when they seem to have understood aspects of the human body or consciousness that modern scientists are just beginning to understand.
When they mentioned if you look down on the human organs from the sky, their disposition reflected the solar system amazed me. We had a post discussing the myth that the moon effects people, I still believe it does. Maybe I'm crazy but I do not think these things are just coincidences, we as humans still do not know so much about the solar system and what is out their and their impact on our bodies. It all just astounds me. -Megan B.
I always find it extremely interesting when learning about ancient civilizations and their spiritual beliefs as well as why they had those beliefs. Something as simple as the sight of the solar system was used as evidence for spiritual beliefs. Michael E

ReplyDeleteIt's also cool how religion evolved from the planets and these "coincidences."
