Oh my goodness! How did they manage to make such an awful situation like this hilarious? Can you imagine this happening to you and being in Larry's position?
I feel bad for laughing but this is so funny. "She's dead?" "Yeah she's dead, dead, she's dead" that part got me. Larry was not invited to his mother's funeral because she did not want to spoil his trip and his father was warned not to call him. I really do not know how they made this dark humor so light and bright but it made me laugh!
yes, i live it. my parents never told me when my dad was sick, i'd find out later. i was sure that my dad would die and my mother wouldn't want to bother me. this is my family.
I also liked how they portrayed something so dark and dreary in a comical way. I think in our world today, it is important to not take everything so seriously and to try to make the best of all situations. -Julia Drazin
